Westbury Bogart flew the mark and hugged the rails all the way.  Turning for home he took over from the early leader Reggie Ledgie and cruised to the line for an easy win.  Westbury Bogart's last win was when Lisa Miles drove him to victory in the Reinswomen's Pony Trot back in December during the Summer Carnival.  Born To Be Wild finished second and Lord Monty 3rd.  Magpie Mary tried a new trick tonight and pulled up to a stop one metre over the line, her driver Kaycee Carey had to encourage her to move on.

As the starter said go BenTen had a little kick but kept trotting.  PJ stepped away like a fire cracker and never looked like losing.  Half way down the straight PJ led from Ben Ten and Eddy's A Fake but the group following including Crackerjack, My Little Pony and Midnight Star were closing the gap and hence took out the placings.  PJ was the winner on the line from  Crackerjack and My Little Pony.

Monkey Business showed his form from a few weeks ago when he won four races in a row and trotted away well from the second row and was soon leading the field out of the back straight with Lapanacaton on his outside and Chilli Knights and Little Paleface close by.

The order didn't change for the remainder of the race, half way down the straight Chilli Knights looked to be the main danger but in the last 10 metres Little Paleface sprinted fast along the sprint lane to finish 2nd, Lapanacaton was on the outside and finished 3rd with Chilli Knights in the centre taking out 4th placing.
