2009 Gold Coast Interdominion
We have received an invitation for 2 Shetlands and 2 Open Class ponies to represent South Australia at the 2009 Gold Coast Interdominion. If anybody is interested in taking their ponies please contact Tanya Starick (0439466573) for all relevant information. Nominations close on Friday 20th February at 4.00 pm.
Kapunda Race Dates
Kapunda Harness Racing Club will hold their race days on Sunday 15th February and also Sunday 8th March. Ponies have been invited to both dates. The 8th March will be Cup Day for ‘big’ horses and we will be running both a Shetland and Open Cup this year. Please advise Angela Wise (8284 7815) if you would like to nominate your pony for 15th February. As in previous years you must run on 15th February to be eligible to run on Cup Day.
Gawler Cup
The Gawler Harness Racing Club will hold their Cup meeting on Saturday 14th March at Globe Derby Park. The Pony Association have been invited to race on this night. Due to a large number of feature races on the night we will only be able to run 2 pony races. These will both be Cup races. Again please advise Angela Wise (8284 7815) if you would like to nominate your pony. Details will be available a little closer to the night.
