Two Tone Miss and Jayden Brewin receiving his medal after getting his first winner

The first race for the New Year was the Shetland class. All the seven ponies trotted away nicely, with newcomer Two Tone Miss leading from PJ and Razzle Dazzle.

Heading down the straight Two Tone Miss had a handy lead still and never looked like being run down, PJ still trotting nicely in second with Swamp Fire running third before Ben Ten started making up ground on the outside. The final placings were Two Tone Miss, second PJ and third was Ben Ten.

Congratulations to Jayden Brewin for his first win on Two Tone Miss at his first ever race drive.

Way To Go crossing the line

Way To Go and Kathryn Lehmann after race

The first attempted was a false start due a pony still turning around but the second time all ponies step away nicely.

Reggie Ledgie was the leader from Petti Cheval and Wynkie Sweet Fairytales. Halfway down the back straight Mr Mischief went into a canter and Bailey Hoare got him back into a trot just before the winning post. Well done to Bailey.

Way To Go took the lead off of Reggie Ledgie half way down the straight with Lapanacaton running into second. The final placings were Way To Go first, Lapanacaton second and Aussie third.
