S.A. Pony Trots

RACE: 1 ~ SA BOTRA Combine Slower Trot

First race to kick start the night was the Combine Slow Open they all stepped away with Rockstar Jelly going to the lead early, Little Red Devil was making quick ground on the inside making chase on the leader, Jimmy Jenkins and Rouge Diablo were coming in to the race nicely, coming around the bend into the straight it was a four pony race between Rockstar Jelly, Little Red Devil, Jimmy Jenkins and Rouge Diablo. With Little Red Devil taking over at the top of straight, Jimmy Jenkins got through middle between Little Red Devil on the outside and Rockstar Jelly on the inside to take over leading, Rouge Diablo followed Jimmy Jenkins through the middle gap.

Jimmy Jenkins went on to win by 10 meters from Little Red Devil in second and Rouge Diablo in third.

RACE: 2 ~ SA BOTRA Shetland Trot

Only a small field of three ponies taking to the track, all stepped away together in an even line there wasn’t much between them. Racing up to the turn Summer Rose kicked up on the inside to lead from Little Miss Muffet and Mr Bo Jangles. The order never changed throughout the race, heading into the straight these three were racing closely only a couple of meters covering them.

Summer Rose and Amity Moritz went on the win by 10 meters from Little Miss Muffet and Mr Bo Jangles.

RACE: 3 ~ SA BOTRA Faster Open Trot

In the final race of the night was our Fast Open Class once the flag dropped Bull Jnr was an early leader from Flash Caviar, half way down the back straight Atomic Blonde and Matthew A’Court made their fast move from the back and quickly challenged Bull Jnr to the lead and they sailed on by, Flash Caviar and Sugar Rush were just behind these front two. At Norman’s Gate Atomic Blonde was off and gone scoring by 25 meters bring up a winning double for Matthew A’Court in Prostate Cancer Awareness Colours.
