In the first race tonight Dick White took to the microphone to call the ponies with a bit of flair. Midnight Star (Sharni Newman) started off the front mark and was making every post a winner with Its All About Me (Chantelle Rendall) taking the sit behind him in the home straight. However, when Chantelle pulled him off Midnight Star’s back he lost balance and went for a gallop and continued galloping as he crossed the line.
Although Its All About Me crossed the line in first position he was relegated to second position making the final placings Midnight Star (Sharni Newman) first, Its All About Me (Chantelle Rendall) second and Wandarra Tess (Jacinta Gilbert) in third position.

A field of 8 ponies went around in the second race tonight with Mark Lydeamore calling the ponies. There were a few ponies being fidgety at the start but eventually they all stepped away okay. On the home turn Born To Be Wild (Cameron Jacques) had the rails with Westbury Bogart (Shannon Platts) on his outside and a 20 metre gap back to Chilli Knights, Little Kizz and Cowboy Road.
Coming to the line Born To Be Wild kicked away from Westbury Bogart and won the race, Chilli Knights was flashing home down the outside just grabbing Westbury Bogart by a metre on the line. The final placings were Born To Be Wild (Cameron Jacques) first, Chilli Knights (Chantelle Rendall) second and Westbury Bogart (Shannon Platts) third.

The third race was a field of seven Shetlands which the crowd always love to watch go around. On the home turn PJ (Bryce Gilbert) was out in front but Two Tone Miss was about to pounce, Pee Wee 50 was trying hard to catch her all the way down the straight.
Two Tone Miss (Jayden Brewin) won by a length from Pee Wee 50 (Lachlan Ramsay) with Ben Ten (Jason Kittel) crossing the line third by a neck in front of Eddy’s A Fake (Jodie Billinger) but due to galloping was relegated to fourth position. The final placings were Two Tone Miss first, Pee Wee 50 second and Eddy’s A Fake third.

The final race of the night Reggie Ledgie who is one of the slower ponies started off the front mark although he did win the Gawler Open Cup the previous week.
Wynkie Sweet Fairytales on the home turn was trotting along nicely putting in the huge strides and dashed away for an easy victory. Aussie grabbed second metres before the line ahead of Reggie Ledgie but unfortunately for Aussie as she galloped a few times throughout the race she was relegated to third position. The final placings were Wynkie Sweet Fairytales (Chantelle Rendall) first, Reggie Ledgie (Cameron Jacques) second and Aussie (Jason Kittel) third.
