RACE: 1 ~ Jive Café Faster Open Trot

Faster Class Open started the night of racing, White Noise was an early by 25 metres from Bull Jnr, Sugar Rush, Flash Caviar and One Step Smaller brought up the tail end of the field. Down the back straight White Noise still had a good lead, Sugar Rush was slowly reducing that margin, right on her back was One Step Smaller and Flash Caviar, Bull Jnr wasn’t too far from them. Coming into the straight White Noise still out in front, Flash Caviar peeled to the outside One Step Smaller latched onto his back and in the middle was Sugar Rush. With four ponies across the track half way down the running it was anyone’s race. Flash Caviar was the winner over One Step Smaller and White Noise.

RACE: 2 ~ Jive Café Combine Slower Trot

Just Call Me Barry was an early leader over Funenuf. Lucky Star, Twoie, Rouge Diablo, Little Red Devil, Rockstar Jelly, Born To Be Wild and Jimmy Jenkins. Around the bend into the front straight Just Call Me Barry was still leading, Lucky Star was closing in, Funenuf wasn’t far from them and the back markers were gradually coming into the race. Lucky Star just got to the lead but was soon challenged by Rouge Diablo who was fast finishing on the inside and the same with Rockstar Jelly on the outside. Rouge Diablo crossed the line ahead of Rockstar Jelly.

Unfortunately, Rouge Diablo was relegated for galloping.

Rockstar Jelly was declared the winner over Lucky Star and Born To Be Wild.

RACE: 3 ~ Jive Café Shetland Trot

Last race of the night, Dash For Cash leading the way over Mr Bo Jangles, a big gap back to Little Miss Muffet and Summer Rose. Passing Norman’s Gate Dash For Cash had just a tiny lead over Mr Bo Jangles these two had a big margin over Little Miss Muffet and Summer Rose. Coming into the straight it was a race in two with Dash For Cash holding on for a win from Mr Bo Jangles and Little Miss Muffet.
